1. Statement of Intent Oxy-Regen Limited is committed to providing a safe, clean and healthy environment for all staff, clients, contractors and visitors. We will comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all relevant UK regulations. Our aims are to: • Prevent accidents and work related ill health. • Maintain safe and hygienic premises. • Provide adequate training and supervision. • Ensure all equipment and facilities are safe to use. • Review this policy annually or after any incident. 2. Responsibilities Management will: • Carry out and record risk assessments for all areas of work. • Ensure all staff receive appropriate training. • Provide PPE and maintain first aid supplies. • Investigate and record any incidents or near-misses. • Review and update this policy every 12 months. Staff will: • Take reasonable care of their own health and safety. • Report hazards or defects immediately. • Follow all safe working procedures and training. • Keep treatment areas tidy and free of obstruction. Clients will: • Follow all safety instructions during sessions. • Report any discomfort, injury or concern promptly. • Not enter restricted or staff only areas. 3. Risk Assessment and Control • Fire, electrical, trip, and oxygen handling risks are reviewed quarterly. • Control measures are documented and implemented. • Only trained personnel operate hyperbaric equipment. • Emergency shut off and evacuation procedures are clearly displayed. • First aid kit and trained staff available on site each shift. 4. Training All employees receive induction covering: • Fire safety and evacuation • First aid and emergency response • Oxygen safety awareness • Cleaning and hygiene standards • Reporting procedures Records of training are retained on file. 5. Monitoring and Review This policy and all risk assessments are reviewed annually, or following any incident or material change to the premises or processes.
